Welcome to Madison in Wanderland: A Loveletter to Australia

Welcome to Madison in Wanderland!

The tourism blog conspired in Second Valley, established in Esperance and designed in Margaret River. But how? Vanlife of course! My partner and I have been travelling Australia in our 1998 Ford Econovan, Nova since March 2020, after building the humble peoplemover into a campervan of dreams – a lockdown project I suppose – you know the ones. Since then, we have seen some amazing places, trekked to remote islands and most importantly, learnt from our many (many) mistakes – which we’re itching to share with everyone!

But wait! Madison in Wanderland isn’t your average tourism blog. The world is already blessed with plenty of travel and sustainability content, covering a number of important and burning questions about vanlife. Instead, here at Madison in Wanderland, we’re sharing our experience, knowledge (and mistakes) to help get you thinking alternatively, treading lightly and most importantly, living more.

So, what can you expect? Here at Madison in Wanderland, I’ll be covering:

  • Vanlife

  • Sustainability

  • Tourism advice

  • Locations and itineraries and

  • Everything in between!

All informed by our experience, knowledge and findings. But that’s enough from me. Madison in Wanderland is centered on connecting the likeminded nomads of Australia and I want to hear from you! Comment below the subjects, concerns and suggestions you are interested in hearing on Madison in Wanderland and I’ll feature them in upcoming posts and podcasts.

Hi, I'm Madison.

Founder of Madison in Wanderland. I developed Madison in Wonderland in October 2021, following a turbulent and challenging  period in Australian tourism and events. Nowadays, I'm dedicated to inspiring a generation of alternative and sustainable travellers in their quest for adventure!
